Biological potential and therapeutic benefit of tricetin on atherosclerosis has been investigated through literature data analysis of various scientific research works. Pharmacological activities have been also investigated in the present investigation with some other medicinal application. Methods: Literature data analysis of different scientific research works revealed the biological importance of tricetin in the medicine. Literature data analysis revealed the biological potential and therapeutic benefit of tricetin on atherosclerosis as tricetin suppressed oxidized low-density lipoprotein (ox-LDL)-induced expression of pro-inflammatory monocyte chemotactic protein-1 (MCP-1) and interleukin-1β (IL-1β) which signified their effectiveness against atherosclerosis.
