Objective: Literature data analysis has been done for various scientific research woks in the present investigation to know the therapeutic potential of sciadopitysin in the medicine. Biological importance and therapeutic benefit of sciadopitysin on osteoclastogenesis has been searched through literature data analysis of various scientific research works. Methods: Lierature data analysis revealed the biological effectiveness of sciadopitysin in the medicine. Literature data analysis revealed the biological importance of and therapeutic benefit of sciadopitysin on osteoclastogenesis as sciadopitysin suppressed RANKL-induced osteoclastogenesis and bone resorption. Literature data analysis also revealed sciadopitysin elevate the alkaline phosphatase activity, collagen synthesis, osteocalcin production, mineralization and glutathione content in the cells. Results: Literature data analysis revealed the biological importance and therapeutic benefit of sciadopitysin on osteoclastogenesis. Conclusions: Objective: Medicinal plants and their derived secondary metabolites have been used in the medicine as good source of drugs for the treatment of various human health complications. Till date different types of herbal products has been used in the modern medicine which are derived from different phytochemicals.
