Objective: The method is a cross-sectional study. The data used was secondary data taken from the health office of the Polewali Mandar government in May 2020. The data was processed by cross-tabulation. Methods: Based on data from the Polewali Mandar District Health Office, 476 cases of hypertension were found, both men and women. The highest number of cases were in women. namely  In men found 187 cases, and 289 cases in women. Most sufferers were in the age range 55-64 years. There were 71 cases in men and 97 cases in women. In women found 10 cases at a young age (18-35 years).  Results: Women suffer from hypertension more than men where the ages of 55 to 64 are very susceptible to hypertension. Providing information and education about hypertension and its risks were recommended to prevent this disease. Conclusions: Objective: Among the various health problems in society, Hypertension is one of the most neglected problems.
