Sexuality is one of the basic human needs that must be fulfilled. Chronic kidney failure and hemodialysis is one of the main causes of changes in sexual function that can affect a person's sexuality patterns. This study aims to determine the sexuality pattern of chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy. This research is a descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach that uses purposive sampling technique. The population in this study were all patients with chronic kidney failure who underwent hemodialysis therapy as many as 131 people, with a total sample of 56 people. The assessment method of sexual intercourse is divided into four namely sex with penetration, without penetration, masturbation (female) and masturbation (male). Related to the frequency of sexuality relations, a statistical test for the normality of Skewnes data is performed. Based on the frequency of sexuality after the statistical test of the normality of Skewness data, the results of this study show that the average frequency of sexual intercourse before illness from 56 respondents is 2x/week with the lowest frequency 1x/week and the highest frequency 7x/week, and the frequency of sexual intercours when suffering from chronic kidney failure is in an average condition of 1x/week with a standard deviation of 0.874x/week. The activeness of sexual activity of chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy, which is in the active category of 64.3% and the method of sexual intercourse of chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy, which is in the category of having sex with penetration of 62.5%. The conclusion from this study can be said that there is a decrease in sexual frequency caused by chronic kidney failure, but patients are still active in sexual intercourse by having sex with penetration.
